Ghee is definitely good. I've modified this from all the different ways I've made it or seen it made. It comes out a little different, but it tastes so good and rarely lasts long in my house!

Looks lovely -I may try this myself, though I recall an Indian friend's mum making naan & instead of honey and olive oil, she used ghee. Fattening: yes. Ridiculously good: of course. Her mixture was close to liquid when it got ladled out -that's how she managed the pseudo-circles. You could also add nigella seeds to the mixture -they add a beautiful flavour when baked.

I love Indian food. Unfortunately, there are only two Indian restaurants in my area and they charge an arm and a leg. This looks so delicious. I'm going to have to try that naan recipe.
